The poem is taken from the children’s show, The Nine And A Half Commandments of Aisle16, written with Luke Wright, Chris Hicks and Joel ‘Joel’ Stickley. The whole thing was originally commissioned by The British Council for a one-off performance in Athens last year. Last week the show got its proper UK debut at the Southbank Centre, programmed as part of their Imagine Festival.
That is astoundingly good!
