This animated poem is taken from my new book, Things To Do Before You Leave Town.
I say “new book”, it’s just my book. I don’t have any others. Apart from one I made when I was 6 about a talking spider. But no publisher gave a damn about me back in the 80s.
I started this animation back in 2005, when parts of it were used in my theatre show Poetry Boyband. Then, last week, when I should have been finishing this website, I hit a rich vein of Level 10 Procrastination and found myself drawing pictures of babies riding pigs. The result is this.
Ah, February, 2008…A Big Love Potion mixed in the Round Theatre, oh yes I remember it well! Marvellous.
